Dromana where the mountain meets the bay, only one hour from the city those of us who live here we know and appreciate all of the advantages of living in the town; and living here it is - all year round!
In the winter you can walk for hours along lonely, wave beaten sandy beaches and not see another soul; or enjoy a delightful meal in one of our many coastal or countryside restaurants/cafes.
There are wineries to visit; enjoy the countryside by horseback; and don't even try to decide which is the better golf course, as there's over 20 to choose from. In the summer the bay is the place to be; with all sorts of water activities at your doorstep; be it fishing; yachting; water skiing or simply finding tranquillity in swimming with the dolphins.
For the boating enthusiasts; currently being developed is the Safety Beach Marina.

A strong local football and cricket club; basketball; squash, netball, life-saving club, bowling and croquet clubs.
For the seniors there is the University of the Third Age.
We also have the attraction of the Dromana 3 Drive-In; for those who wish to remember their yesteryear, or to ensure your children experience a family night out at the Drive In.
You can also enjoy a visit to the various local markets, which are within a stones throw of Dromana.
